Case Study

Langchulight

LANGCHU is a custom lighting designer and manufacturer — 36,000 m² of production facilities, 1,000+ completed projects, serving interior designers and architects with bespoke fixtures for hotels, restaurants, and residences (clients include Hilton, Shangri-La, and W Hotels properties). Working from their Figma designs, I developed a custom WordPress theme for their complete web presence: a content-rich site showcasing their design process, project portfolio, and product collections — catalog-style, with inquiry-based sales rather than e-commerce.

5 Inquiry types routed through a single smart contact form

What the client was up against

LANGCHU’s business is visual — the site had to present blown-glass fixtures, before/after transformations, and hotel installations at a quality level matching the craftsmanship itself, exactly as designed in Figma. The content structure was deep: project case studies organized by sector (hospitality, restaurant, commercial, residential, institutional), product collections across six fixture categories, a step-by-step process narrative, and a blog — all serving an international audience of designers and architects, and all leading to inquiry rather than online checkout.

What I built

I developed a custom WordPress theme from scratch, built to match the Figma designs pixel-for-pixel. The architecture organizes two parallel catalogs — projects by sector and light collections by fixture type — cross-linked throughout, with a three-step “conception to execution” process narrative, before/after image comparisons, video content, and client testimonials building trust along the way. Inquiries flow through a contact modal with a service-type selector (rendering, shop drawings, samples, manufacturing, repair), plus a newsletter signup, with Google Tag Manager wired in for conversion tracking.
